The 3rd edition of the El Llobregat open chess tournament runs from November 30th to December 8th in Sant Boi de Llobregat, near Barcelona.
175 players compete in the main open, including GM Francisco Vallejo Pons, GM Yu Yangyi, GM Hans Moke Niemann, GM Ivan Cheparinov, GM Vladimir Fedoseev and GM Kirill Alekseenko. Complementary activities to the main open are offered, aimed at both chess players and the general population.
